In a commanding performance, the Minster Wildcats secured a dominant 67-35 victory over the Ridgemont Golden Gophers in the Division VII District Semifinals on February 27, 2025. From the opening tip, Minster's defense set the tone, pressuring Ridgemont into difficult shots and limiting their offensive opportunities. The Wildcats capitalized on fast breaks and efficient shooting, steadily building their lead throughout the game. By halftime, Minster had established a comfortable margin, allowing them to dictate the pace in the second half.

Offensively, the Wildcats displayed a well-balanced attack, with multiple players contributing to the scoring effort. Their disciplined ball movement and ability to find open looks proved too much for Ridgemont to handle. Meanwhile, the Golden Gophers struggled to find consistent scoring, as Minster's defensive intensity kept them in check.

With the win, Minster improved their season record to 16-8 and secured a spot in the district finals, where they will face St. John's. The upcoming matchup presents a significant challenge, as St. John's enters the contest with an impressive 21-2 record.

Minster will look to carry their momentum into the championship game as they aim for a district title and a berth in the regional tournament.
